Academic Programmes

European Nazarene College offers three programmes:

 Spiritual Formation Certificate (60 ECTS; 1 year of full-time studies)

 Christian Ministry Certificate (120 ECTS; 2 years of full-time studies) 

 Bachelor of Arts in Religion (240 ECTS; 4 years of full-time studies)

 

Offered at Various Locations

The two certificate programmes are offered full-time at the Büsingen campus and part-time
at different learning centres. Click on Learning Centres for a list of all teaching
centres.

The Bachelor programme is only offered at the Büsingen campus. Coursework for the certificate
programmes done at the off-campus learning centres can be transferred into the Bachelor programme
at the Büsingen campus.

One Curriculum Structure

All of the courses in the three programmes are divided into nine clusters. Each programme
is structured similarly and reflects a certain philosophy of the education that EuNC provides.
The courses are offered according to their place in the curriculum, providing coherency to

One Set of Intended Educational Outcomes and Course Descriptions

All of EuNC's courses are designed to accomplish certain educational outcomes according to
their place in the curriculum. Every course, regardless of location, has the same educational
outcomes and therefore the same course description, guaranteeing a certain uniformity
between the learning centres in different contexts.

Contextual Diversity

Every course has been designed in such a way to provide flexibility to the unique context
of each learning centre and to use the textbook resources available in the language of each
location. The sites of the learning centres reveal the diversity within the academic programmes
of EuNC.
