Susana Campos is 26 years old.  She lives in Braga, Portugal, where she works for Habitat for Humanity Portugal.  She serves her church (which she helped to plant), Igreja do Nazareno de Braga, as a servant of God and specifically as president of NYI and NMI.

Although Suzi’s family is Portuguese, she was born in Germany.  She grew up in a strongly Catholic home.  At the age of 16, Suzi moved with her family back to Portugal where she finished high school.  Then, she moved to Braga to continue her studies in college in the area of economics.  Away from her parents’ supervision, Suzi got lost in the nightlife.  She spent almost everyday at parties with a lot of alcohol and bad company.  Her life started spinning out of control, and she became frustrated.  Searching for the meaning of her life, she decided to leave Portugal and study through Erasmus in France for one year.  At first, her life seemed to get worse.  She continued partying and drinking instead of going to class.  Then, she got to know a group of Christian youth and a church where everything was different—especially their love.  For the first time in her life, she felt the presence of God and knew that He was not dead or far away and that He loves her like no one else.  She accepted Christ as her only Saviour and Lord when she was 23 years old.  He became her biggest passion and love from that day until today and forever.  Since then, God changed her life completely, and He guides her every step.

Suzi is now taking courses through EuNC at the Portuguese Learning Centre in preparation for her call to missions.  Suzi writes, “Thank you, Lord, for Your Love and for all that You are--that You never give up on me, but You make me grow in Your perfect way until I will see You face to face! All Glory and Honour to You!”
