Cliff Wright attended EuNC and received his B.A. in Religion. He is working on his M.A. in International Relations from Troy State University (USA).
While assigned to Germany when in the United States Air Force (USAF), in 1991, Wright sensed God calling him to work in the former Soviet Union. While still serving in the USAF, he attended European Nazarene Bible College in Büsingen, Germany and graduated in 1993. He retired from the USAF in 1999. The Wrights were assigned as intern missionaries to Ukraine in July 1999.
Prior to this first missionary appointment, Wright served as a Russian linguist in the
USAF for 22 years. He was ordained on the British Isles South District in March 2001.
Wright and his family are global assignment missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene
in Ukraine. He works in the area of pastoral oversight, pastoral education, church planting,
evangelism, and humanitarian aid distribution. He also works with the JESUS Film teams and
Work and Witness teams serving Ukraine. He is EuNC's coordinator for the Ukraine Learning
Centre.
