Istvan Csernak received his B.A. from the Financial College of Budapest Agriculture. At Free Church Pastoral Training, he studied theology and then received a certificate of theology from Evangelical Theological Academy.
Csernak has pastored in the Methodist Church for 16 years, taught in Methodist training schools for 15 years and since 1998, he has been a superintendent in the Methodist Church.
