Mary Schaar graduated with her B.A. in History from Olivet Nazarene University (USA), received her M.A. in American History from John Hopkins University (USA) and wrote her thesis in American History, more specifically, American Religious History.
Schaar taught History classes at Rutgers University (USA) and taught History at EuNC for 10 years. Schaar is currently the pastor of an English-speaking international church in Stuttgart, Germany.
