Svetlana Khobnia graduated with a B.A. in Linguistics from Volgograd Pedagogical University (Russia),
later she went to EuNC and received the four year B.S. in Biblical Studies. At Nazarene Theological Seminary (USA), Khobnia graduated with her master's degree in Theological
Studies.
From 2002-2006, Khobnia and her husband, Andrei, with their
son have pastored Volgograd's Light of Hope Church of the
Nazarene. She was also the child sponsorship coordinator for
the CIS and taught in many extention courses in the Russia South district, in other locations
in the CIS as well as in Busingen. Currently, she and her family are residing in Manchester,
England where both of the Khobnias hope to finish their Ph.D. work.
