Teacher Checklist

  Approval of Teacher
___ Learning Centre Coordinator/Administrator sends request for approval to the EuNC Academic Dean at: acdean@eunc.edu
___  Submission of EuNC Teacher Information Sheet by  teacher.
___ Submission of Curriculum Vitae or Resume by teacher.
___ Submission of transcripts by teacher.
___ Submission of recent photo, ideally in electronic format, by teacher.
 

Course Development

___ Downloading General Syllabus Template or Sample Syllabus from http://www.eunc.edu/pages/faculty/syllabi.php
___ Downloading Blank Syllabus Template for developing the specific syllabus.
___ Submission of syllabus to registrar@eunc.edu for approval. This needs to happen 4 weeks before the start of the course.
___ Final approval from the Academic Dean.
___ Registrar creates the course in SonisWeb, and provides teacher with access information for SonisWeb.
___ Teacher uploads the syllabus in the instructional languag(es) into SonisWeb, and sends the final version of the syllabus in English to the Registrar.
 

Teaching the Course

___  Campus Registrar (for Büsingen Campus) or Learning Centre Coordinator/Administrator enrols students in SonisWeb.
___ Teacher sets up grade book in SonisWeb
___ Teacher enters all grades of all assignments in SonisWeb.
___ Teacher completes all grading no later than 3 weeks after the final course date.
___ Teacher "Posts Grades to Student Record" in SonisWeb to allow the Registrar to know the grades are ready for final review.
___ All students will fill out online, or for some learning centre's via paper, the student course evaluation.
 

Finishing the Course

___  When a student has an incomplete, the Learning Centre Coordinator/Administrator sends an Incomplete Grade Form to the Registrar.
___ The Lecturer goes into SonisWeb and clicks on the link for the "Teacher Course Evaluation". This will provide course feedback for continual improvement of the course along with necessary information for the Common Assignment.
