Checklist

 

Approval of Faculty

___      Learning Centre Coordinator/Administrator sends request for approval to acdean@eunc.edu

___      Submission of EuNC Lecturer Resume by the lecturer.

___      Submission of Transcript.

 

Course Development

___      Downloading General Syllabus Template or Sample Syllabus from http://www.eunc.edu/pages/faculty/syllabi.php

___      Downloading Blank Syllabus Template for developing the specific syllabus.

___      Submission of syllabus to registrar@eunc.edu for approval. This needs to happen 6 weeks before the start of the course.

___      Final approval from the Academic Dean.

___      Registrar creates the course in SonisWeb, and provides lecturer with access information for SonisWeb.

___      Lecturer uploads the syllabus in the instructional languages into SonisWeb, and sends the final version of the syllabus in English to the Registrar.

 

Teaching the Course

___      Learning Centre Coordinator/Administrator enrols students in SonisWeb.

___      Lecturer creates Grade Book in SonisWeb

___      Lecturer enters all grades of all assignments in SonisWeb.

___      Lecturer completes all grading no later than 4 weeks after the course.

___      Lecturer alerts Registrar that grades can be made official

___      All students will fill out the Student Course Evaluation.

 

Finishing the Course

___      When a student has an incomplete, the Learning Centre Coordinator/Administrator sends an 
Incomplete Grade Form to the Registrar.

___      The Lecturer submits the Common Assignment Data Sheet to the Outcomes Assessment Coordinator.

___      The Teacher submits the Lecturer Course Evaluation to the Learning Centre Coordinator and the Academic Dean.
