Gideon de Jong

B.A., M.A. from Northwest Nazarene University, U.S.A.

Jason Veach

I live in Kansas City, USA with my wife Regan and our two children. I earned a BA in Religion from MidAmerica Nazarene University and a Master of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary. I am also an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene. I have served as a parish pastor, church planter, and missionary-educator. I am passionate about exploring the power that liturgy and the arts have to shape the hearts and lives of individuals and communities of faith. I currently serve as Communications Director at Nazarene Theological Seminary and am pursuing further education while also enjoying opportunities to preach and teach. I have co-authored a book on missional ecclesiology and written various articles for denominational publishings. I love to travel, take photos, paint and draw, all while sitting down for a good cup of coffee!

I am an Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology and Director of the undergraduate Online Christian Ministry program at Northwest Nazarene University. I am also the Executive Director of Compassion for Africa, a 501(c)3) organization that engages in sustainable compassionate ministry projects in Africa. We have two children, Jimmie and Annie, and a daughter-in-law, Leslie. I enjoy staying physically active by hiking, backpacking, and exercising. I love to spend time with my family, read, travel, and garden.

I graduated with a BA from Northwest Nazarene University in 1984, an MDiv from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1989, and a DMin from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1999.

Olga Druzhinina

“A long time ago I was born in a little village in Russia during the Communist time. Who could even predict that many years later God would find me and change my life completely. In 1986, I graduated from Volgograd State University with qualifications as a “Mathematician/Programmer” (MA in Science). Later on in my life I became a minister in the Church of the Nazarene and for several years I had been serving as a deacon in the Volgograd region, Russia (ordained in 2009). In 2005, I received a BA degree in Religion at European Nazarene College. Following this in 2006, I completed an MA in Theology with Distinction at Nazarene Theological College, which is affiliated with the University of Manchester. In 2015, I was awarded the PhD by the University of Manchester. My PhD dissertation was published as a book under the title The Ecclesiology of St. Basil the Great: A Trinitarian Approach to the Life of the Church.

Currently, I live in St Petersburg, Russia and work as a part-time faculty member of European Nazarene College. I also work as a Literature Coordinator for the CIS Field of the Church of the Nazarene, translating and publishing books for Russian speaking students.

I have a family – my husband Alexey, two daughter and two granddaughters. Together with my husband we pastor a small church in St Petersburg and are looking forward for the new opportunities which God has prepared for us.” – Olga

Raquel Pereira

My name is Raquel (Rachel) and I was born in Lisbon, Portugal. I completed a B.A. in Religion through Europeann Nazarene College/MidAmerica Nazarene University, and an M.A. in Spiritual Formation through Northwest Nazarene University. As the EuNC Registrar, I have the opportunity to work together with different people, mostly from European and CIS countries, towards the ministerial preparation of those who answer positively to God’s call in their lives. I have also the privilege of coordinating the Nazarene literature endeavors in Portugal. It is a special joy to work with a team of translators, editors, proofreaders, and hopefully soon with authors, to make Wesleyan-holiness literature available to Portuguese readers.

The sight, aroma, sound, and movement of the ocean bring me calmness and energy. A good book with relaxing music or a friendly conversation make up good moments for me.

Wilma Holleman

Together with my husband Antonie and our two children we lived in Büsingen, Switzerland for 17 years. We worked at EuNC. I did several things: teaching New Testament Greek, working in the admissions office, setting up a mentoring program, setting up the internship program and monitoring the coordination, setting up an introduction course on online teaching for teachers and teaching other courses like Spiritual Formation. I have been involved in the ministry at EuNC with great joy.

During those years I studied at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, USA. This was a fully online program with an emphasis on spiritual formation. I received a Master of Divinity degree in 2012.

While I was studying I felt a growing call to pastoral ministry. After the campus learning program was closed we returned to the Netherlands in 2013 where Antonie and I became co-pastors of the church of the Nazarene in Zaanstad. In March 2017 I was ordained.

I am still connected with the EuNC learning center in the Netherlands to teach once in a while.

Besides the joy of being involved in ministry I enjoy reading, going for hikes, visiting musea, visiting cities and exploring their history.
