The following courses are being offered in the 2017-2018 Academic Year, with the full  schedule for our EuNC programmes to be available in the 2018-2019 academic year:

  • ACP1000: Orientation to EuNC (0 ECTS) with Alan Schrock. This orientation provides students with the necessary information needed to take their first EuNC course and deals with the topics of the culture of EuNC, the online systems that EuNC uses, the syllabus, writing style guides, mentoring, local learning centre information, and course evaluations.
  • THE1103: Introduction to Theology (3 ECTS) with Dr. Olga Druzhinina. 23 October 2017 to 15 December 2017. “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10) —  what does that involve? Theology, the study of God, is not just about book knowledge, it’s also about reflecting on God and faith in Him, personally and in community. This course explores the need for such theological reflection and also offers a thorough basis for further academic theological study.
  • MIS1103: God’s Mission and the Church (3 ECTS) with Rev. Gideon de Jong. 2 January 2018 to 28 February 2018. Mission Possible! The Lord of Lords calls us to join in His mission, the Missio Dei. Are you ready for this task? — This course follows the Missio Dei through Scripture and explores the role of individuals as God’s agents and the role of the church as the body of Christ, called into existence to fulfill His mission across generations and cultures.
  • PAS2103: Christian Worship (3 ECTS) with Rev. Jason Veach. 5 March 2018 to 11 May 2018*. The focus of this course is to help students develop a theology of worship and a clear understanding of the relationship between the believer’s daily worship lifestyle and the congregation’s weekly worship activities. Special attention is given to the biblical basis for worship, the historical development of worship and liturgy, the spiritual life of the minister, the various elements of a worship service and the exploration of models of worship that are relevant for today’s Church.
  • Cancelled: MIS1303: Spiritual Formation (3 ECTS) with Rev. Wilma Holleman. 21 May 2018 to 13 July 2018.  This course seeks to communicate an understanding of the means of grace and to establish spiritual disciplines in the lives of students preparing for ministry to a broken world in need of holy transformation.  Time is given to the classical spiritual disciplines, and opportunities are given throughout the course for application of learning in both personal and corporate spiritual formation.

*Easter Break will be from 31 March 2018 to 15 April 2018.
