The annual EuNC Faculty Assembly is an important event where faculty get together for fellowship, training, and information exchange. Even though Covid-19 has led to various challenges, we do not want to lose that special experience. As the Leadership Team looked at the venue, current and possible future travel restrictions, and the unknowns about what the status will be in February 2021, we have decided to do things differently this coming year. So, though it will look different, we will have our Faculty Assembly with a virtual delivery.

It will take place from Monday, 1 February 2021 to Wednesday, 3 February 2021. The meeting of the Board of Trustees members will start two days earlier. The message in the Opening Service on Monday will be given by General Superintendent Dr. David Graves. In the same service, Global Education and Clergy Development Director Dr. Klaus Arnold will lead the inauguration of Rector Mária Gusztinné Tulipán. On the following days there will be devotionals held by the Administrative Director of the Global Clergy Development, Dr. Stan Rodes, and Revd. Jim Ritchie, newly elected Regional Director for the Eurasia Region. Also, pedagogical training for teachers of theological education will be provided by Dr. Svetlana Khobnya, teacher at EuNC and NTC. The training with the title „Dialogue as an Educational Tool“ is very relevant for educators and administrators in terms of methodology, style of communication, and the formation of the community.

We feel the loss of not meeting in person, however, through minimal travel possibilities we can invite speakers for whom it usually might be harder to participate. Faculty can soon sign up for Faculty Assemby on www.eunc.edu.
