Biography:
After pastoring a Nazarene church in the state of Texas (USA), my family and I spent 10 years as missionaries in Italy. Then, we were redeployed to Haiti where we spent five years as Nazarene missionaries. My primary responsibility in that Caribbean island nation was a ministerial training program for people already serving as pastors. I completed my doctorate while we were in Haiti with my research project focused on the ministerial program for which I was responsible. In 1988, I began a 25-year stint of teaching world missions courses at Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma (USA). I am married and have two children, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
