In March 2023 a graduation ceremony took place in Yerevan, Armenia where two students from the EuNC - Russia Leaning Centre and one student from the EuNC - Ukraine/Moldova Learning Centre graduated with the Diploma in Christian Ministry. The graduation took place at the District Assembly in Armenia, currently one of a few neutral grounds in the Eurasia North Field (ENF). The event coincided with the ordination of 7 ENF ministers, five of whom are EuNC Diploma in Christian Ministry graduates. Among the special guests were General Superintendent Rev. David Busic, Regional Director Rev. Jim Ritchie, ENF Field Strategy Coordinator Rev. Trino Jara and the district superintendents from several districts.
The ceremony began with a joyful procession of the graduates with Rector Rev. Mária Gusztinné Tulipán and EuNC Eurasia North Field faculty present at the event. The Rector addressed the graduates and guests, and Learning Centre Coordinator Andrey Khobnya introduced the three graduates and their testimony of life, ministry, and education journey.
Sadly, the graduate from Odessa (EuNC - Ukraine/Moldova Learning Centre) was not able to travel to the graduation celebration due to travel restrictions. The student was able to join the event online, and received his diploma virtually, which was passed to him in person later together with the graduation commemorative gift.
The graduation ceremony was a celebration of the students’ achievements some of whom had a long road of studies complicated by work, ministry, family commitments, external circumstances, and personal challenges. It was also a powerful witness and encouragement to those who were present at the ceremony. Some of them were current students in the program who saw that hard work and determination does lead to a successful completion of the programme, but more importantly to becoming more equipped as disciples of Christ for ministry.
