In September 2025, EuNC received institutional re-accreditation through 2030 and programme re-accreditation for all three programmes, marking its fourth review cycle with ECTE and the first under ECTE’s new EQAR-listed status.
EuNC Starts to Serve the Middle East
On 1 September 2023, EuNC launched the Arabic Learning Centre (ALC), adding Arabic as a new instructional language to serve the Middle East and the wider Arabic-speaking world.
Strategic Plan – 2030 Growing Together
EuNC adopted the Strategic Plan 2030: Growing Together, setting direction for collaboration with churches, districts, and the Eurasia Region in making Christlike disciples
First ECTE Accreditation
In November 2012, EuNC received its initial accreditation from the European Council for Theological Education (ECTE, former EEAA) for the Certificate in Spiritual Formation and the Diploma in Christian Ministry.
Residential Programme Closure
In summer 2011, EuNC closed its residential programme in Büsingen, focusing entirely on extension education and Learning Centres.
Learning Centre Transition
EuNC intentionally shifted to being a Learning Centre–based institution, anticipating the residential closure in 2011.
New Curriculum and ECTS Adoption
EuNC launched a contextualised outcomes-based curriculum and adopted the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) during 2007–2008.
Moving Forward Strategy
In January 2006, the Board of Trustees adopted the Moving Forward strategy, affirming EuNC as “one multicultural and multinational school with one campus and administrative centre and many teaching locations”.
Name Change
In 2001, the college embraced a broader identity, becoming European Nazarene College (EuNC).
Extension Centres
In the 1990s, extension education expanded access to students across Europe.
