A Minute from the rector
One of the privileges of serving European Nazarene College is seeing how learning becomes ministry—and how ministry, in turn, becomes another classroom where God continues to shape His people.
In this issue, you will meet students and alumni whose stories remind us that Christian education does not end when a course is completed.
You will read about Rawnak Bilal and fellow students in a dual-language Intercultural Missions course, offered jointly by the EuNC Digital Campus and the EuNC Arabic Learning Centre, that brought together participants from eight countries, learning across languages and cultures as one Christ-centred community. You will meet Renata Vila Nova da Silva, whose practicum became a ministry of hope among incarcerated men and women, discovering that God was working in her own life even as she served others. And you will reconnect with EuNC alumni Shahade Twal and his family, whose journey from our college has grown into decades of cross-cultural ministry and now continues through their service across the Eurasia Region.
Although these stories unfold in very different places, they all point to the same reality: theological education is most meaningful when it is lived. It is expressed in relationships built across cultures, in compassionate service to those on the margins, and in faithful ministry that continues long after graduation.
As you read these stories, I hope you will be encouraged by the many ways God is at work through the students, alumni, faculty, Learning Centres, churches, and partners who together form the European Nazarene College community.
Thank you for praying with us, supporting this ministry, and encouraging those whom God is preparing for service. Your partnership reaches far beyond the classroom. Together, we are witnessing lives shaped for ministry and communities served in Christ's name across many nations.
May these stories encourage you in your own walk with Christ.
With joy and gratitude,
Mária Gusztinné Tulipán
Rector, European Nazarene College
